This is the second home that we have renovated for these clients. Having maintained a good relationship, they asked for input for another renovation and this one had the best bones. It had been severely neglected and needed a complete overall to bring it back to its former glory.
The internals from a rear extension were stripped and walls and doors were added to create a cosier feel. Some existing features were preserved, like the curved arch in the new shower and the lead light windows were expertly restored.
The original textured wall was recreated throughout, and cornices and ceiling roses were either restored or replaced to match the existing ones to complete the traditional look. Finally, an ebony stain to the existing jarrah floorboards changed the entire feel of the house.
We were able to undertake a staged approach to the renovation/extension. Doing enough to allow them to move in and then returning to finish the ensuite/robe and then again to undertake the rear landscaping including a pool.
