New Build – About this home
We took great pride in being asked to build an architect’s own home. Leanhaus set out with a specific intent to show with his own home how it is possible to maximise efficiency in multiple disciplines.
With a large cantilevered roof acting as shading for the rear alfresco, we worked with the engineers to design a roof system that prevented the need for any structural steel.
High ceilings and polished concrete floors throughout necessitated the use of acoustic ceilings to help quieten the noise of a busy family with three boys.
